not to mention the tight parking situation—definitely not for the faint of heart. with my expectations, i woudl ve appreciated some sort of complimentary upgrade to make up for the inconveniences. just couldn't recommend.

Fantastic location, just a short walk from the city center. Luca, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and picked us up from the train station, making our arrival smooth. The room was charming, with tasteful decoration and very clean. Breakfast choices were diverse. I especially liked the gluten-free options curated for my needs. Eating in the lovely garden surrounded by jasmine was delightful. However, the breakfast lacked some warmer options beyond toast. A bit more variety would enhance the experience. Overall, a lovely stay with beautiful surroundings and helpful service.

villa san donato b&b was a charming spot! just a short walk to the old city walls. we loved the balcony room overlooking the garden, and borrowing bikes to explore was a highlight. also, opposite is a great pizza takeaway that we didn’t try, but it looked tempting!
